Dollar Tree is currently under pressure to either sell Family Dollar or do some serious reorganizing. Dollar Tree acquired Family Dollar back in 2015 and thing has yet to flourish.

The plan now is to close 390 Family Dollar locations that are underperforming. For the stores that they will keep open, they will make significant changes to the look and feel of the store.
