Former Houston Astros Player Evan Gattis has publicly issued an apology as he ends his MLB career.
Gattis was quoted saying “we cheated baseball” referring to the 2017 Houston Astros team. He even went a step further and stated that he is glad the cheating scandal was revealed to the public.
“We did it, that’s a fact. And that’s on the wall. Part of me is really glad that it’s out there it’s public knowledge and it’s accurate.”
It will be interesting to see if any of the other players on that 2017 Astros team will be as apologetic as Evan Gattis.
