Detective Pikachu had an impressive opening weekend at the box office.
According to boxofficemojo, Detective Pikachu made an estimated $58 million domestically and $112 million internationally. This gave the movie an estimated total of $170 million in the debut weekend.
Ryan Reynolds was great as the voice of fan favorite Pikachu and I believe this movie will open the flood gates for more live action Pokemon movies.
