DeMarcus Cousins Likely Out For The Season

The New Orleans Pelicans managed to beat the Houston Rockets 115-113 but may have lost one of their All-Stars for the rest of the season.

On a non-contact play Cousins goes for a rebound and comes down awkwardly and was on the floor in pain. Cousins was helped off the court and was trying to keep the pressure off of his left foot.
It was reported shortly after the game ended that the injury was a torn Achilles and he is likely to be out for the remainder of the season.
Cousin had a monster game getting a triple-double 15 Pts, 13 Reb, and 11 Ast. Cousins is also looking for a max deal upwards of $170 million. Does this injury make things cloudy in terms of Cousins future contract?
