Delta Airlines has partnered with restaurant Shake Shack to offer cheeseburgers to first-class passengers. The burgers will only be offered on select flights over 900 miles. The offer will be at these United States airports: New York (JFK), Las Vegas (LAS), Miami (MIA), Orlando (MCO), Minneapolis (MSP), San Francisco (SFO), and Salt Lake City (SLC).
The Shake Shack meal features a 100% Angus beef patty on a toasted potato bun, customizable with toppings like lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce, served with chips, a Caesar salad, and a dark chocolate brownie. Passengers can pre-select the Shake Shack meal via the Fly Delta app or email link between seven days and 24 hours before departure.
“Customers are raving about the Shake Shack experience onboard our flights after serving more than 10,000 burgers out of Boston since launching in December. This is part of our work to partner with brands our customers already know and love while continuing to raise the bar for the in-flight experience – whether that’s making your favorite cheeseburger available at 35,000 feet, or ensuring you have a variety of fresh meals to choose from that fuel you on your adventure.” – Stephanie Laster, Delta’s Managing Director of Onboard Service
