David Tepper Is Close To Buying The Carolina Panthers

David Tepper is finalizing a deal to buy the Carolina Panthers from current owner Jerry Richardson.
Tepper is worth an estimated $11 million dollars. David is the founder of Appaloosa Management and is a minority owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Before the deal becomes final Tepper will have to sell his ownership of the Steelers.
The amount of money the team was sold for has not be disclosed. The team was estimated to be worth anywhere from $2 to $2.5 billion.
The other NFL owner will have to approve this deal, but with Tepper already being a minority owner he should have no problem getting approval from the other owners. It has also been reported that he intends to keep the team in Charlotte, North Carolina.
