Once Republican Governor Phil Scott and Democrat Governor Janet Mills sign their new bill both Vermont and Maine will abolish the Columbus Day holiday.

America had no business making Columbus a holiday, to begin with. I am sure in my lifetime we will see Columbus day abolished as a holiday in every state in America.
