So the rumors were certainly true about John Cena and Danial Bryan not participating In WWE’s Crown Jewel Event.
It was rumored that John Cena and Daniel Bryan did not want to wrestle in the Crown Jewel event due to the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi in Saudi Arabia.
John Cena will be replaced in the WWE World Cup Tournament by Bobby Lashley.

Daniel Bryan was supposed to compete for the WWE Championship against AJ Styles. Instead, this match took place the Episode of SmackDown Live 3 days before Crown Jewel. Samoa Joe will now face off against AJ Styles again for the WWE Championship at Crown Jewel.
