Canelo To Fight At 168 lbs In Next Fight

Canelo will fight again in 2018 but in the super middleweight division at 168 lbs. 

After getting a favorable decision over Triple G, Canelo is now moving up in weight. The Mexican fight next fight will take place on December 15, 2018, against Rocky Fielding. Rocky is the current WBA super middleweight champion. The fight will take place in New York City at Madison Square Garden.

There is clearly no one else in the middleweight division that would worth fighting for Canelo at this point. I was surprised they squeezed two fights out Triple G.

It will interesting to see Canelo adjust to fighting at a heavier weight. I am expecting his speed to decrease to some degree at 168 lbs. Rocky Fielding is also no cupcake. I am hearing he is eager to fight Canelo with the intentions to more buzz around his name.
