Bill Gates To Pays Off Nigeria's Debt Of $76 Million

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will pay off Nigeria’s debt of $76 million dollars.

This deal all started with a promise from Bill and Melinda made a few years back. Nigeria borrowed money from Japan for funding to fight against the wide outbreak of the polio disease. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation promised to pay off the loan if Nigeria met some certain requirements. All signs seem to point to Nigeria meeting those requirements because Bill and Melinda Gates are ready to pay off the debt.
The payments will start this year(2018) and will be completed over the next 20 years. Nigeria reported no new cases of polio the entire year of 2017.

Talk about someone who keeps their promises, Bill and Melinda might give a whole new meaning to that.
