The baseball glove worn by Babe Ruth was sold at the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory auction. Babe’s glove was sold for $1,527,500 which was the highest ever paid for a baseball glove.

The game-worn glove dates back to the Bambino’s time with the 1927 Yankees. Ruth gave the glove to longtime St. Louis Browns infielder Jimmy Austin. The glove remained in Jimmy Austin’s family until it was sold in the auction.
