Arizona Head Coach Sean Miller Discussed $100,000 Deal With A Recruit On FBI Wiretaps

I am surprised when I hear anyone that is surprised that college athletes were getting some type of money.

The FBI has phone conversation between Arizona basketball head coach Sean Miller and Christian Dawkins. Christian Dawkins is merely an assistant to sports agent Andy Miller.
The phone conversation was about Deandre Ayton, who Arizona wanted to recruit. It is reported that there are over 3,000 hours of intercepted phone conversations. During the conversation a verbal exchange about giving the college prospect at the time over $100,000.
It is also alleged that Arizona has another player they recruited and they may have given him $150,000. The player is yet to be named.
The Yahoo reports states that there is possibly 20 NCAA schools that violated NCAA rules by giving athletes money to join their program.
If you ask me this is just the tip of the iceberg. I have no idea what will happen to college basketball after the dust is cleared with this investigation.
