Apple To Start Offering Health Insurance

According to a CCS Insight analyst, the tech giant Apple could soon offer health Insurance. The analyst believes this could happen as soon as the year 2024.

Since the Apple Watch was released back in 2015, Apple has collected millions of health-related data over the years. The Apple Watch monitors blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, ECG readings, and body temperature.

The analyst believes that the data they have collected over the last 7 years gives Apple an advantage in the health insurance market.

“Nearly every day, I get notes from customers who share how a heart alert led to a life-saving appointment with the cardiologist,” – Tim Cook, Apple CEO

Apple is already a flagship partner in John Hancock’s Vitality program and UnitedHealthcare’s commercial plans
