Afghanistan Earthquake Kills Over 200 People

An earthquake struck the eastern Afghanistan area that killed at least 255 people. It has also been reported that another 250 have suffered injuries.

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake hit eastern Afghanistan at 1:24 AM. According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake registered at a depth of 10 kilometers. The quake was felt in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and part of India.
