The American Alliance Football league(AAF) has decided to suspend operation with no clear indication to resume operations.

I can’t imagine the league is still having money problems since Tom Dundon bailed the league out after the first week. Tom Dundon who owns the NHL Carolina Hurricane, invested $250 million.
It was reported that the league was having an array of issues with the payroll company they were using. A lot of the players were vocal about delays in payment after the first week of the season.
