Druski Will Host The 2026 BET Awards

BET has officially tapped comedian and digital sensation Druski to host the 2026 BET Awards. The announcement dropped on April 30, 2026, confirming what many fans have been hoping for: the 31-year-old viral star will take the stage on Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m. ET/PT from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The show will air live on BET and simulcast across a massive lineup of networks, including BET HER, CMT, LOGO, MTV, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount, POP, VH1, Comedy Central, and TV Land.

Druski becomes the youngest host in the 25-year history of the BET Awards, eclipsing Kevin Hart, who held the record after emceeing in 2011. Known for his razor-sharp improvisational style, wildly popular skits, and ability to blend humor with Black culture in ways that resonate across generations, Druski has skyrocketed from social media phenom to mainstream powerhouse. With a massive following built on hilarious characters and collaborations with everyone from Drake and Snoop Dogg to Tom Brady and Timothee Chalamet, he’s earned spots on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list and Rolling Stone’s Most Influential Creators.

As the countdown to June 28 begins, one thing is clear: the 2026 BET Awards are about to get a major dose of Druski flavor. Whether he’s roasting celebs in real time, bringing out surprise characters, or turning the Peacock Theater into his personal comedy playground, this is one host who’s guaranteed to keep the culture laughing while honoring its biggest stars.
