I am amazed at how many people are willing to pay up to $1,000 for a device that is likely to need to be replaced in 18 months. Sure it may be the people who have tons of expendable income. I get it, you got the money you like nice things blah blah blah.
But the people I see breaking their piggy bank for the latest iPhone are the commoners for a lack of a better term. I had the urge to name a few of the things I would buy instead of the $1,000 iPhone.
- 3.5 shares of Apple stock
- I would pay my rent
- Tascam Trackpack 2×2 Recording Package USB 2 With Softwareto create a podcast about not wasting money on meaningless electronics
- 10 years of Amazon Prime($99/year)
- Buy my daughter a dog
- A Used Vehicle
- Canon EOS Rebel T6 Digital SLR Camera$459
- Start an IRA account with $1000
- Microsoft Surface Book (128 GB, 8 GB RAM, Intel Core i5)
- Acquire an app on flippa.com
Apple iPhone X, Fully Unlocked 5.8″, 64 GB – Silver
