Now the Luke Walton has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. We now point our attention at who should be the Lakers next head coach.
First, the Lakers need to hire another president of basketball operations due to Magic Johnson essentially quitting the job. But after they do that they should take the focus should be finding a new head coach.

Nate McMillan
It was rumored that the Lakers had some interest in Pacers head coach Nate Mcmillin, but he has signed an extension that keeps him under contract through the 2020/2021 season. The chances of the Lakers landing Nate McMillan is a really long shot.
Mark Jackson
Every high profile coaching job that comes up in the NBA you always hear Mark Jackson name come up. He gets a lot of the credit of what the Golden State Warrior has turned into. The question is, I am not sure if Mark Jackson is truly interested in coaching these days. Personally, I would like to see Mark Jackson be the head coach of this Los Angeles Lakers team.
Tyrone Lue
Hiring Tyrone Lue with definitely appease LeBron James and be an upgrade from Luke Walton. It will also be much more significant if the Lakers are able to bring Kyrie Irving to the team during the off-season. The Idea that they won a championship together will reenergize this Lakers fan base after a turmoil-riddled season.
Below is a list of coaches that I think the Lakers should consider for their head coaching job.
Monty Williams
Stan Van Gundy
