The last thing I heard about Kane was that he was running for Mayor for a town in Tennessee. Last time we saw Kane on TV in the WWE, he was bald.
Kane is apparently back with a full head of hair and vengeance with The Shield. During a Steel Cage match between Braun Stroman and Roman Reigns, Kane comes from underneath the ring and delivers a chokeslam and a tombstone to Roman. Braun finished him off with a few running power slams and a pin.
A tweet from the WWE page confirmed that Kane is, in fact, the 5th member of the team that will face the Shield at TLC.

So The Miz, The Bar, Braun Stroman and Kane will take on the Shield In a Table, Ladders And Chairs match at the TLC PPV.
