Vladimir Putin will send medical help to Italy to help battle the coronavirus.
Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte reached out to Putin via a phone call and asked for assistants on March 21, 2020. Putin responded and will send the Russian military to help as soon as March 22, 2020.
Russian Defense Ministry stated that they would provide eight mobile brigades of military medics, special disinfection vehicles, and medical equipment.
Italy has been one of the areas hit the worst by the coronavirus.
