Paramount Pictures have announced that the unnamed sequel to ‘Top Gun’ will be released June 2020.
The original release date was sometime July 2019. The project being pushed back an entire year due to trouble with the visual effects.

The crew has seemed to hit a snag in developing the visual concepts for the flight scenes in the movie. The studio believes pushing the movie back a complete year will be enough time to iron out all of the issues.
