Errol Spence has said he wants to be the undisputed welterweight champion and he plans to fight the best of the best to do so. After he washed Mikey Garcia at AT&T Stadium, It is now time to look at what should be next for Errol Spence.
Spence has publicly said he is going after a fight with Manny Pacquaio to possibly bring another fight to AT&T Stadium. I understand Pacquaio from a business perspective, but I would rather see Errol Spence class with the talented pool of welterweight talent.

Here are the fights I believe Errol Spence absolutely needs to take.
Danny Garcia/Shawn Porter
All signs are pointing to a rematch between Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter to take place in September 2019. If this is true, the winner of this fight needs to fight at the top of the year 2020.
Terrence Crawford
A fight between Errol Spence and Terrence Crawford has been brewing for a few years now. It’s not a matter of if this fight will happen and it is a matter of when. This is quietly one of the most anticipated fights in the welterweight division today. I just hope the fight is made in a time when both fights are at their best.
Keith Thurman
Keith Thurman took a 22-month layoff due to injury and came back to fight Josesito Lopez. Thurman got the win but he did not look sharp. Fair enough he was out of the ring for almost 2 years. Keith Thurman needs to tighten up quick before he gets in front of Errol Spence at some point. If Spence wants to become the undisputed welterweight he will have to go through Keith “One-Time” Thurman.
Canelo Alvarez
Let’s say Spence becomes the undisputed welterweight by beating all the top talented. That would be the perfect time for the Canelo fight. Canelo Alvarez vs Errol Spence has super fight written all over it. You would almost have to have this fight at AT&T Stadium instead of Vegas.
