The Electric truck maker Rivian Automotive Inc. is expected to lay off over 600 people in the next few months. It was reported that the cuts will be in nonmanufacturing jobs and include areas with the same functions.
Across its 6 locations in the United States, Rivian has 14,000 employees. The company plans to reduce its workforce by 5% with the upcoming layoffs. It is still unclear what location the layoffs will come from if not all locations.
