federal prosecutors recommended that Cohan do 4 to 5 years in prison, but his willingness to cooperate with the Federal investigation the trump and Russia he got to cut some slack.
Cohan admitted that he was negotiating a proposal to build a Trump skyscraper in Moscow well into the presidential campaign. This goes against Donald Trump saying he did not have any business dealings with Russia what so ever.
