Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has publicly stated that he knows he is going to lose money. He is saying this based on the COVID-19 arena protocol set by the NBA.
“Am I going to lose a lot of money this year? Yes. No question about it. More than $100 million when this is all said and done? Yes. No question about it,” – Mark Cuban
Mark is hopeful that NBA arenas can be packed with fans by March, April, or May of 2021. The Dallas Mavericks plan to announce a plan that they will host at most 5,000 fans in their 20,000 seat arena.
