I am ready to call Lil Uzi the leader of this new age of rap. I see a lot of hype around different artist but the albums sales or the streams don’t match the hype. 28k of the sales were actual album sales while the rest was streams. It’s no secret that Lil Uzi gets tons of streams across all of the
Lil Uzi is a different story. Uzi fans are fanatically about him and his music. Almost like a cult following Uzi has built over the years. Uzi selling 125k in his first week indicates to me that people are seriously invested in his music. I can see Luv Is Rage 2 being gold within the next month. There is only a handful of artist that we are talking about going gold and/or platinum in hip-hop today.
Uzi’s music is still not my twist at all, but I do recognize that he is having an impact on music lovers with his music. I like to give credit where credit is due.
