Surprisingly Google Project Fi has been around for 3 years now. It doesn’t even feel like it’s been 2 years, but then again this coming April will make 2 years for me being a Project Fi Subscriber.
I got an e-mail recently from Project Fi about something they like to call ‘Bill Protection’.
So basically at any given month that I may need or want unlimited data, I will only have to pay $60 for my data plus $20 fee for talk and text. So with Project Fi, I will only have to pay $80 + tax for unlimited data.
The question I ask, is this a good deal?
Xfinity Mobile offers unlimited data for just $45 plus taxes. If I am truly a data hog The Xfinity Mobile’s unlimited plan looks a lot sexier than Project Fi’s. I happen to spend 29.49 on my Xfinity Mobile & Project Fi bills combined.
If you are going to spend $80 to $90 on your phone bill why not just get Sprint, AT&T, or Verizon?
