Bad Bunny Claims He Will Wear A Dress At The Super Bowl

Bad Bunny is headlining the  Super Bowl LX halftime show on February 8, 2026. He was quoted as saying he has plans to wear a dress honoring Puerto Rican queer icons and drag culture. This is building on his past gender-fluid looks, like skirt-wearing in Coachella 2022.

Social media is torn in a cultural divide. Some supporters praise visibility for LGBTQ+ communities amid the Super Bowl’s 100 Million+ viewers, while critics question the intent as provocative or express confusion over “queer,” echoing broader U.S. debates on gender.

As of now, neither Bad Bunny’s team nor the NFL has officially confirmed or denied details about the wardrobe or specific thematic elements of the show. Preparations remain underway, with the artist known for keeping creative decisions closely guarded until showtime.
