The NFL has officially announced that Apple Music will be the new sponsor for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The multi-year partnership will begin in 2023 when the Super Bowl will take place in Glendale, Arizona.
“We are proud to welcome Apple Music to the NFL family as our new partner for the iconic Super Bowl Halftime Show, we couldn’t think of a more appropriate partner for the world’s most-watched musical performance than Apple Music, a service that entertains, inspires, and motivates millions of people around the world through the intersection of music and technology.” – Nana-Yaw Asamoah, SVP of Partner Strategy for the NFL
It has been reported that Apple Music is paying $50 million per year for 5 years for the halftime show sponsorship. You don’t have to be a math wizard to know that’s a quarter of a billion dollars.
There is currently no update on who will be performing at Super Bowl LVII, but fans can expect updates from Apple Music on its social media account in the coming months.
