REMEMBER THIS: The Nokia N-Gage

The N-Gage was ahead of its time I don’t care what anybody says. Maybe it was way too far ahead of its time it had a short lifespan. The N-Gage was a PDA, Phone, and Handheld gaming system. Little did we know in 2003 that smartphones were the future and we would have games, email, and text in the palm of our hands.

The N-Gage was a unique device without a doubt. They had their own gaming cartridge. They wanted people to get the N-Gage and give up on the Game Boy Advance at the time. For $299 Nokia may have priced its way out of the game(no pun). For me, at that time I was very interested in the N-Gage, but the asking price was just too high for me. In 2003 I could have got a PS2 for $200 – $179. So getting an N-Gage was out of the question.

Nokia did manage to sell an estimated 3 million N-Gage devices. Here is a list of all of the games created just for the N-Gage.
