MLB has issued suspensions to players and coaches from the incident that happened in the game between the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays.
Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman will be suspended for 3 games. Yankees manager Aaron Boone will only be suspended for 1 game. Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash will also be suspended for 1 game.
“I don’t think I should be sitting out tonight, nor Chappy[Aroldis Chapman], but I do respect the process” – Aaron Boone
All three of them were also fined for an undisclosed amount by the league.
