AMC theaters are planning to reopen with an interesting twist. The theater will offer 15-cent movie tickets. The reason for the low price is to celebrate the companies 100-year anniversary.
The 15-cent was the price for a movie back in 1920 when the company started.
AMC plans to open over 100 theaters all over the nation starting August 20, 2020. Some of the 15-cent movies will be classics like Black Panther, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, Grease, and Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
