Google Announces Gaming Platform Stadia

Google has finally unveiled its new gaming platform titled Stadia. Stadia will be a cloud-based gaming platform. Stadia can be used on Chrome, Andriod, and Chromecast. So essentially the only hardware you will need is a controller.

Google did not give out information on Stadia will be available to everyone, but they did say it will launch in 2019. They also failed to mention what the price of this cloud gaming service or if it would be subscription based. The only hardware you will need from Google is a Stadia controller.

If I am guessing, I believe Google will offer Stadia to consumers for $11.99 per month. Maybe I am just hoping it is that price because I may not be willing to pay any more for a subscription-based gaming platform.
