Microsoft Office 2019 Is Coming Fall 2018

All signs are pointing to fall 2018 as the likely release of Microsoft Office 2019.
According to a Microsoft blog post, Office 2019 will be exclusive to Windows 10. I don’t think you will not be able to install Office 2019 on Windows 7 or Windows 8, but Microsoft is making it clear that they will not provide any support for it.
Microsoft Office 2019 may be the last version user will be able to buy without having an Office 365 subscription. Luckily if you already have an Office 365 subscription you will be able to download Office 2019 at no additional cost. There is no word on how much Microsoft Office 2019 standalone desktop version will cost, but it will likely be $150.
It is rumored the Office 2019 will have a Cortana integration to allow users to able to use voice commands as part of the user’s experience. Microsoft also announced some improvements to Excel and Powerpoint.

“Office 2019 will add new user and IT capabilities for customers who aren’t yet ready for the cloud. For example, new and improved inking features—like pressure sensitivity, tilt effects, and ink replay—will allow you to work more naturally. New formulas and charts will make data analysis for Excel more powerful. Visual animation features—like Morph and Zoom—will add polish to PowerPoint presentations. Server enhancements will include updates to IT manageability, usability, voice, and security” – Microsoft

I would be willing to bet that previews of office 2019 will begin to show up sometime around August 2019.
