Walmart plans to open health care centers located inside select Walmart locations around the United States.

Walmart is planning to offer low-cost options for those who do not have health insurance. It will cost $30 for a medical checkup, $25 for a teeth cleaning and $1 a minute to talk to a counselor. The Walmart health care centers will provide medical, dental, eye care, hearing checks and provide X-rays.

I think the idea of providing the services they are providing with a flat rate is genius. It is unclear how many of Walmart’s 5,000 location that will also have medical centers.
