It looks like WWE is headed back to network television. It is rumored that Fox will air Smackdown Live every Tuesday starting in October 2019.
Smackdown has not been on network television since it aired on MyNetworkTV back in 2010. Smackdown then moved to the Syfy channel from 2010 to 2015. The blue brand has been on USA network along with RAW since 2016.
The amount of money FOX paid to get Smackdown Live has not been disclosed. Smackdown Live Brings in estimated 2.5 million viewers every week. I think this is a win for both the WWE and Fox. Fox now has a program that people will tune into all year.
