The Long Island native Joe Smith Jr. is the new WBO light heavyweight champion. He defeated the Russian fighter Maxim Vlasov by majority decision.
The fight turned out to be a really good fight and a close fight. I wouldn’t be surprised if a rematch between Maxim Vlasov and Joe Smith Jr. takes place in the near future.
I would also love to see a fight between Joe Smith Jr. and Sergey Kovalev.
