President Donald Trump has announced he will send anti-drug Navy ships near Venezuela.

This is announcement came days after the United States drug indictment against Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro. The United States along with over 60 other countries do not acknowledge Maduro as the president of Venezuela. Juan Guaido is considered to be the leader of Venezuela and has asked the U.S. for help getting Nicolas Maduro out of power.

“As governments and nations focus on the coronavirus there is a growing threat that cartels, criminals, terrorists and other malign actors will try to exploit the situation for their own gain, we must not let that happen.” – Donald Trump

The fact that we are dealing with a global pandemic, I don’t think this is the right time to be dealing with a foreign government.
