The Celtics had control of this game from the tip. They locked the Cavaliers down defensively and get to the basket at will. I’m not overacting after one game, I still believe the Cavaliers will win this series. It was clear that Brad Stevens and the Celtics had a plan. I heard coach Stevens say in the huddle to “stick to our system”. The Cavaliers will shoot better from 3-point range in the future. They just couldn’t buy a 3-point make in the first half. They did have a ton of rest between game 4 against Toronto and game 1 against the Celtics. The Cavaliers looked slow and a bit uninterested in playing defense.
