A protest has led to anarchy and violance all over the city. The violent protest came from a fare increase of the public transpation. Many locals saya the protest is more about the rising cost of living in the country and fare increase in the straw that broke the camels back.

“The aim is to ensure public order and the safety of public and private property, there will be no room for violence in a country with the rule of law at its core.” – President Sebastian Pinera
