YouTuber MrBeast, famous for his over-the-top videos and global charity projects, just delivered one of the strongest shout-outs possible for Starlink, Elon Musk’s satellite internet service.
In a recent podcast clip that’s blowing up online, MrBeast said he now refuses to fly on any plane without Starlink. “I will only book flights exclusively on planes with Starlink,” he explained. “I don’t care if it means an extra layover, I’ll sit in the back of the plane if it gives me Starlink.”
He called Starlink the backbone of his worldwide productions and travels because it works in places where normal internet doesn’t exist. Some of the examples he gave:
- Filming in Antarctica, where Starlink was one of the only reliable ways to stay connected
- Building water wells deep in rural Africa, hours from the nearest city, with full internet the whole time
- Driving through remote villages and open fields with a Starlink dish on the vehicle and never losing signal
MrBeast summed it up perfectly: “Starlink is literally magic. It makes no sense.”
