Macy’s has brought in the new year with the announcement to permanently close more of their stores in 2022.
“We expect to announce about 10 closures in January with more details on the remaining stores to come later in 2022” – Adrian Mitchell, Macy’s chief financial officer
The Department store retailing plans to close 60 more stores in 2022. This is all a part of the companies storeoptimization plan.
