Ice Cube and Mike Epps are pulling up to the porch again, this time for a weekly conversation series. The longtime friends and Friday franchise co-stars have launched Listen & Laugh, a podcast that leans into the same unfiltered chemistry audiences first saw when Epps joined the series as Day-Day.
The show positions Cube as the one who makes you listen and Epps as the one who makes you laugh (with the roles sometimes flipping). According to the official description, the conversations range “from the streets to the suites, Last Friday to first crushes, big breaks and heartbreaks, classic stories and new debates.” Nothing is off-limits; the guards come down, and the stories get personal.
The set is styled as a porch that nods to the original 1995 Friday film, complete with the casual hangout vibe. In the trailer, Epps claims they’re on the original porch; Cube immediately corrects him. Ice Cube has said fans will see that their real-life relationship is a lot like Craig and Day-Day’s.
The guest list teased in the trailer is stacked. It includes Dr. Dre, Stephen A. Smith, Regina King (who played Craig’s sister Dana in the original Friday), T.I., The Game, Dana White, Cedric the Entertainer, Michael Blackson, Jack Harlow, Benny Blanco, Lil Dicky, and others. Additional names that have circulated the project include Bill Burr, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Funny Marco, and more.
New episodes are scheduled to drop every Friday at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT. They will be available on YouTube (via the Listen and Laugh channel) and on major podcast platforms. As of the trailer’s release in late October 2026, a specific premiere date for the first full episode had not yet been announced.
