Comedian and creator Druski has signed a multi-year deal with Netflix to develop and produce original content exclusively for the streamer through his 4LIFERS Entertainment company. The partnership kicks off with Collect & Praise, a semi-scripted comedy series that premieres on Netflix on December 1st.
The series stars Druski as a money-hungry megachurch pastor opposite Mike Epps as his unpredictable deacon. The pair “scheme their way through scandal, chaos and controversy” in a project adapted from Druski’s viral megachurch sketch (sometimes referred to as Mega Church Pastors Love Money or tied to the fictional Collect and Praise Ministries). The bit racked up millions of views online and was revived when Druski hosted the BET Awards earlier this year. This marks the first time the 32-year-old (born Drew Desbordes) has turned one of his popular internet personas into a longer-form television production.
As part of the agreement, Netflix is also licensing select material from Druski’s existing catalog, including Coulda Been Love, Coulda Been Daddy, Coulda Been Records Auditions, and various comedic skits. Those YouTube series have collectively generated more than 1 billion views. The deal is structured around a set number of projects rather than a traditional overall or first-look arrangement, according to reporting.
“I’ve built my platform by creating characters and comedy that resonate with people,” Druski said in a statement. “This partnership with Netflix will give me the resources to build on that comedy foundation and bring my work to a new global audience. It’s a tremendous opportunity for our team at 4LIFERS Entertainment to expand our reach, develop original programming for the masses, and take our creativity to new heights.”
John Derderian, VP overseeing Next Gen Content at Netflix, added: “Druski has a gift for building characters that people can’t stop talking about. We want the best talent in the world to bring us their most ambitious work, reach new audiences, and build their brands. Collect & Praise is just the beginning, and we welcome Druski to Netflix.”
The move represents a notable turnaround. On The Diary of a CEO podcast, Druski previously said Netflix, Amazon, and FX had repeatedly passed on his pitches. He responded by self-financing his own productions and releasing them independently on YouTube and social platforms, building a substantial following and business (Forbes valued 4Lifers Entertainment at $14 million in a 2025 Top Creators ranking). Platforms that once said no are now acquiring the shows and partnering for new ones. Collect & Praise itself was self-funded before Netflix acquired it.
The announcement arrives amid a strong run for the creator. He is set to host Saturday Night Live on November 7 as the first creator in that role. He is also starring opposite Emma Stone and Chris Pine in the 2027 romantic comedy The Catch and developing the comedy The Diggers with Kenya Barris. The Netflix deal was brokered by WME.
Netflix has increasingly courted digital creators, and this exclusive development pact positions Druski to bring his character-driven, internet-honed comedy to a broader global audience while continuing to expand the 4LIFERS slate. Collect & Praise drops December 1.
