It has been reported that EDM artist Deadmau5 has decided to sell his music catalog to Create Music Group. The deal is estimated to be worth an estimated $55 Million.
The deal includes the sound recordings and copyrights of more than 4,000 songs. The agreement also establishes a joint venture for future releases from Deadmau5 and Mau5trap, aiming to expand the reach of his music through remastering, re-releasing key pieces, and exploring new opportunities in licensing, gaming, VR, and live streaming.
