It has been reported that Media Mogul Byron Allen has made a bid to buy assets from Disney. The bid is to buy ABC television network, FX, and National Geographic for $10 billion.
Disney CEO Bob Iger has revealed Disney is open to selling some of their assets due to the company’s financial woes. Since the launch of Disney Plus in 2019, the company has reported an estimated $11 billion in losses.
Sources close to the deal revealed the offer is “preliminary” and “could change” at any time. There is no official word from Disney about this bid at the time.
