We officially know who the successor of Joe Girardi as Yankees manager will be Aaron Boone. I like Aaron Boone, I think he is a very knowledgeable in terms of baseball and I believe he will be relatable to this young Yankee team. I can’t ignore that he never managed before on the pro level. I also believe he got this job because he is going to be willing to apply sabermetrics to his coaching decisions to appease the Yankees higher-ups.
