Apple Is Making Services Just As Good As Their Hardware
Apple unveiled a lot at their March 25, 2019 keynote event. They showcased Apple TV+ Apple News+, Apple Arcade, and Apple Card.
Apple teamed up with Goldman Sachs to offer the Apple Card which is an Apple credit card. The cards offer no fees and 2% cashback on all purchases. The physical cards have no numbers, no cvv, and no expiration date. This service is expected to be available in the summer of 2019.
Apple has basically created a subscription-based news app that allows you to get access to the top magazines in the world. This Service is available now for a free trial but it will cost you $9.99 a month to keep this service.
Apple Arcade is a gaming service that can be played on Apple devices. It is not just an exclusive bundle of apps, but instead, it is a gaming experience. They plan to offer 100 plus exclusive games with no ads and offline access. This is also a subscription-based service and will be available in the fall of 2019.
Apple TV+ might be their biggest announcement of them all. Apple has connected with some of the biggest actor, director, and content creator to create exclusive content to their new streaming service. Apple TV+ is clearly here to compete with Netflix and Amazon Video.
Apple got some big names involved like Steven Speilberg, Oprah, Steve Carroll and more as some of the talents that contributed to making content for their new video service Apple TV+
Apple new services look promising as they are introduced in its introductory phase. Just like Apple’s hardware, their services are being presented as a premium product from the beginning.
