Brett Kavanaugh Gets A Favorable Senate Vote
Kavanaugh just got one step closer to becoming a Supreme Court judge after getting 51-49 Senate vote.
This vote came after the FBI investigation that the Senators had access to. The Democrats were opposed to Brett Kavanaugh was announced by President Trump as the nominee. I was one of the people that thought this while sexual assault allegation was a part of a smear campaign. The Democrats could not hide their distaste for Kavanaugh being a Supreme Court judge.
Kavanaugh hurdled over the Senate, but he is not in the clear just yet. He will need a final confirmation vote. The final confirmation vote is set to take place October 6, 2018.
I didn’t think he would get the Senate vote in his favor. But the fact that he did makes me believe he will get the final confirmation vote and eventually become the next Supreme Court judge.
